Charging station operators are faced with the challenge of expanding infrastructure for the growing number of electric vehicles (EVs). A connection to the electric grid may be available, but not always with sufficient capacity to support high-power charging. Buffered battery charging fills up this gap, providing power to EVs at all times, even on low-voltage grids.
