Horizontal axis wind turbine

The average annual wind speed in Poland is about 5 m/s, and many wind turbines can operate as low as 3 m/s. This means that wind energy can be an important source of electricity. In fact, every few weeks we hear that wind turbines have broken energy production records. The horizontal axis wind turbine is the most common type of turbine. Now you can also benefit from this source.

We offer support in the design, construction and commissioning of small and medium-sized wind turbines. Such solutions will be perfect as a source of electricity in industrial facilities, public buildings, supermarkets, farms, manufacturing halls, etc. Thanks to the use of wind turbines, we are given the opportunity of producing electricity at times when the output of other renewable sources is low. Due to the fact that the annual distribution of wind speed is opposite to the annual distribution of solar radiation, wind turbines are an excellent complement to solar power arrays.

We carry out comprehensive implementation of wind power plants. Our equipment is characterized by high efficiency through the use of suitable generators, reliability through direct drive of the generator without gearboxes, and safety, which provides protection from wind speed, voltage values and all other possible failures of the turbine.

We place the turbine generator on special monolithic or hydraulic wind towers up to 30 meters high depending on the type. The turbine uses a direct-drive three-phase generator to produce energy, driven by a rotor in a three-blade configuration.

The main advantages of HAWT (Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine) wind turbines are their higher efficiency than vertical-axis turbines and their aesthetic and harmonious appearance. The capacities of individual turbines are much larger and can be up to several GW.

All of our devices, can be integrated into the MICROGRID (in the hybrid energy system) configured from the devices we offer, according to individual client needs.

We recommend conducting an energy and economic analysis and audit, in order to fine-tune the wind turbines and other devices included in your MICROGRID.
